1. Raghav Chadha was honored with the Young Global Leader Award.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Senior Leader and Rajya Sabha Member Raghav Chadha was honoured as a Young Global Leader for 2022 by the World Economic Forum on Wednesday, said a press release on Thursday.

राघव चड्ढा को यंग ग्लोबल लीडर अवॉर्ड से नवाजा गया।

आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के वरिष्ठ नेता और राज्यसभा सदस्य राघव चड्ढा को बुधवार को वर्ल्ड इकोनॉमिक फोरम द्वारा 2022 के लिए यंग ग्लोबल लीडर के रूप में सम्मानित किया गया, गुरुवार को एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया।

 

2. Uttar Pradesh banned the display of weapons in religious processions.

Uttar Pradesh govt bans new mikes in religious places and display of weapons in religious processions. Uttar Pradesh government has said that no new mikes will be allowed in the religious places in Uttar Pradesh. The government has also banned showcasing of arms during religious processions in the state.

उत्तर प्रदेश ने धार्मिक जुलूसों में हथियारों के प्रदर्शन पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया।

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने धार्मिक स्थलों पर नए माइक और धार्मिक जुलूसों में हथियारों के प्रदर्शन पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है। उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने कहा है कि उत्तर प्रदेश में धार्मिक स्थलों पर किसी भी नए माइक की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। सरकार ने राज्य में धार्मिक जुलूसों के दौरान हथियारों के प्रदर्शन पर भी प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है।

 

3. Netherlands had hosted the Invictum Games 2022.

After a two-year delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the games can finally begin. From 16 to 22 April we will be honouring 500 athletes from 20 countries at the Invictus Games in The Hague. Win or lose, these sportsmen and women are an inspiration to us all.

4. NITI Aayog and UNICEF India released the report on India’s Children’s State Multidimensional Status and Trends in Child Development.

The report will create frameworks for understanding health and nutrition, education, water and sanitation, household living standards, and a child-friendly environment across states. This endeavour will contribute to India’s commitments to the 2030 Agenda by providing a set of policy suggestions for concerted action in terms of speeding progress toward the SDGs and ensuring holistic development for all children.

नीति आयोग और यूनिसेफ इंडिया ने भारत के बच्चों की राज्य बहुआयामी स्थिति और बाल विकास में रुझान पर रिपोर्ट जारी की।

रिपोर्ट राज्यों में स्वास्थ्य और पोषण, शिक्षा, पानी और स्वच्छता, घरेलू जीवन स्तर और बच्चों के अनुकूल वातावरण को समझने के लिए रूपरेखा तैयार करेगी। यह प्रयास एसडीजी की दिशा में तेजी से प्रगति और सभी बच्चों के समग्र विकास को सुनिश्चित करने के संदर्भ में ठोस कार्रवाई के लिए नीतिगत सुझावों का एक सेट प्रदान करके 2030 एजेंडा के लिए भारत की प्रतिबद्धताओं में योगदान देगा।

 

5. Vice President M Vaikeya Naidu will inaugurate the Khelo India University Games.

The Khelo India University Games -2021 got off to a grand start here on Sunday. Inaugurating the Games, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu gave a call “to return to our roots”, and asked all stakeholders to give top priority to indigenous and rural sports.

खेलो इंडिया यूनिवर्सिटी गेम्स-2021 की रविवार को यहां शानदार शुरुआत हुई। खेलों का उद्घाटन करते हुए, उपराष्ट्रपति एम. वेंकैया नायडू ने “हमारी जड़ों की ओर लौटने” का आह्वान किया, और सभी हितधारकों से स्वदेशी और ग्रामीण खेलों को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देने के लिए कहा।

 

6. Estonia organized the cyber security exercise called “Locked Shields” organized by NATO.

The annual real-time network defense, also termed “Locked Shields Exercise,” is an excellent platform to protect IT infrastructure from international threats. The practice is organized under intense pressure, with several teams countering cyberattacks. This exercise provides a unique opportunity for a corporation not only for civilians and the military but also among public and private stakeholders.

7. The Shivamogga Airport under construction in Karnataka has been named after BS Yediyurappa.

Speaking to media, Chief Minister Bommai said the cabinet has decided to name Shivamogga airport after BSY as he played a major role in bringing the airport to the city. The proposal will now be forwarded to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

कर्नाटक में निर्माणाधीन शिवमोग्गा एयरपोर्ट का नाम बीएस येदियुरप्पा के नाम पर रखा गया है।

मीडिया से बात करते हुए, मुख्यमंत्री बोम्मई ने कहा कि कैबिनेट ने बीएसवाई के बाद शिवमोग्गा हवाई अड्डे का नाम रखने का फैसला किया है क्योंकि उन्होंने शहर में हवाई अड्डे को लाने में एक प्रमुख भूमिका निभाई है। यह प्रस्ताव अब नागर विमानन मंत्रालय को भेजा जाएगा।

 

8. Stefanos Tsitsifas won the ATP 1000 Monte Carlo Masters 2022 Tennis Tournament.

Stefanos Tsitsipas won the Monte-Carlo Masters for the second time on Sunday, defeating Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-3, 7-6(3) to win his second ATP Masters 1000 title. The Greek, who was playing in his fourth final at this level, used fierce topspin and accuracy on his forehands and came back from a 5-4 deficit in the second set to win his first trophy of the season.

9. Players from Russia and Belarus were banned in Wimbledon tournament.

Wimbledon is also the first tennis tournament to ban individual competitors from the two countries, meaning men’s world number two Daniil Medvedev from Russia and women’s fourth-ranked Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus will be banned from the June 27-July 10 tournament.

विंबलडन टूर्नामेंट में रूस और बेलारूस के खिलाड़ियों पर प्रतिबंध लगाया गया था।

विंबलडन दोनों देशों के व्यक्तिगत प्रतिस्पर्धियों पर प्रतिबंध लगाने वाला पहला टेनिस टूर्नामेंट भी है, जिसका अर्थ है कि पुरुषों की दुनिया में नंबर दो रूस से डेनियल मेदवेदेव और बेलारूस की महिलाओं की चौथी रैंकिंग वाली आर्यना सबलेंका को 27 जून से 10 जुलाई के टूर्नामेंट से प्रतिबंधित किया जाएगा।
