Serdar Berdymukhamedov declared winner in Turkmenistan elections

Serdar Berdymukhamedov elected as President of Turkmenistan.

Serdar Berdimuhamedow has been sworn in as the President of Turkmenistan. Berdimuhamedow succeeds his father and former president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who became president in 2006 and served till 2022.

तुर्कमेनिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति चुने गए सर्दार बर्डीमुखमेदोव।

तुर्कमेनिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति के रूप में सर्दार बर्दिमुहामेदो ने शपथ ली। बर्दीमुहामेदो अपने पिता और पूर्व राष्ट्रपति गुरबांगुली बर्दीमुहामेदोव की जगह लेंगे, जो 2006 में राष्ट्रपति बने और 2022 तक सेवा की।

West Bengal celebrated the ‘Dol Utsav’ or ‘Dol Jatra’, the festival of colours, marking the onset of the spring season. The festival is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha and celebrated on full moon day. It also marks the last festival of the year as per the Bengali calendar. In the Eastern region of India, the festival of spring is celebrated as Dol Jatra, Dol Purnima, Dol Utsav, and Basanta Utsav.

पश्चिम बंगाल ने ‘डोल उत्सव’ या ‘डोल जात्रा’, रंगों का त्योहार मनाया, जो वसंत ऋतु की शुरुआत का प्रतीक था। यह पर्व भगवान कृष्ण और राधा को समर्पित है और पूर्णिमा के दिन मनाया जाता है। यह बंगाली कैलेंडर के अनुसार वर्ष के अंतिम त्योहार को भी चिह्नित करता है। भारत के पूर्वी क्षेत्र में, वसंत का त्योहार डोल जात्रा, डोल पूर्णिमा, डोल उत्सव और बसंत उत्सव के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

 

Francis Kéré becomes first African to win Pritzker Prize 2022.

Architect, educator and social activist Francis kéré has been announced as the 2022 laureate of the Pritzker architecture prize 2022, the award often referred to as architecture’s highest honour. He was born in the small village of gando in Burkina Faso, kéré is the first black architect to win the coveted award.

फ़्रांसिस केरे प्रित्ज़कर पुरस्कार 2022 जीतने वाले पहले अफ्रीकी बने।

आर्किटेक्ट, शिक्षक और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता फ्रांसिस केरे को प्रिट्जर आर्किटेक्चर पुरस्कार 2022 के 2022 पुरस्कार विजेता के रूप में घोषित किया गया है, इस पुरस्कार को अक्सर वास्तुकला का सर्वोच्च सम्मान कहा जाता है। उनका जन्म बुर्किना फ़ासो के छोटे से गाँव गांडो में हुआ था, केरे प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार जीतने वाले पहले अश्वेत वास्तुकार हैं।

 

N Biren Singh takes oath as Chief Minister of Manipur for 2nd term.

Senior BJP leader N Biren Singh took the oath as Chief Minister of Manipur for a second consecutive five-year term on March 21, 2022. The ruling BJP party contested all 60 seats in the Manipur Assembly election in 2022 and won 32 seats.

एन बीरेन सिंह ने दूसरे कार्यकाल के लिए मणिपुर के मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में शपथ ली।

भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता एन बीरेन सिंह ने 21 मार्च, 2022 को लगातार दूसरे पांच साल के कार्यकाल के लिए मणिपुर के मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में शपथ ली। सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा पार्टी ने 2022 में मणिपुर विधानसभा चुनाव में सभी 60 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ा और 32 सीटें जीतीं।

 

HDFC Bank to launch “SmartHub Vyapar programme” &amp:  ‘AutoFirst’ app.

HDFC Bank has announced to launch the “SmartHub Vyapar programme” & ‘AutoFirst’ app the following two initiatives/application to give a digital push to small business loans. The financial institution has onboarded over 2.7 million retailers and is buying 100 thousand retailers each month. HDFC Bank has plans to onboard 20 million retailers in three years. More than half of the newly onboarded retailers solely function by means of the app platform.

एचडीएफसी बैंक ने लघु व्यवसाय ऋणों को डिजिटल प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए निम्नलिखित दो पहलों/आवेदनों में “स्मार्टहब व्यापार कार्यक्रम” और “ऑटोफर्स्ट” ऐप लॉन्च करने की घोषणा की। बैंक ने 2.7 मिलियन से अधिक दुकानों को जोड़ा है और हर महीने 100 हजार खुदरा विक्रेताओं को खरीद रहा है। एचडीएफसी बैंक की योजना तीन साल में 20 मिलियन खुदरा विक्रेताओं को जोड़ने की है। आधे से अधिक नए ऑनबोर्ड खुदरा विक्रेता केवल ऐप प्लेटफॉर्म के माध्यम से काम करते हैं।

United Nations (UN) Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres has announced the appointment of Indian development economist Jayati Ghosh as a member of the UN’s newly established Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism.

5th in the series of Offshore Patrol Vessels “ICGS Saksham” commissioned.

Defence Secretary of India, Dr Ajay Kumar has commissioned the Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Saksham. The fifth in the series of 105-metre Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) class, at Goa. The first four of the five ICGS which have already been commissioned in 2020 are ICGS Sachet (1st); ICGS Sujeet (2nd); ICGS Sarthak (3rd); and ICGS Sajag (4th) in 2021.

भारत के रक्षा सचिव, डॉ अजय कुमार ने भारतीय तटरक्षक जहाज (आईसीजीएस) सक्षम को कमीशन किया है। गोवा में 105 मीटर ऑफशोर पेट्रोल वेसल (ओपीवी) वर्ग की श्रृंखला में पांचवां। पांच आईसीजीएस में से पहले चार जो 2020 में पहले ही चालू हो चुके हैं, आईसीजीएस सचेत (प्रथम) आईसीजीएस सुजीत (दूसरा) आईसीजीएस सार्थक (तीसरा) और आईसीजीएस सजग (चौथा) 2021 में हैं।

The 2022 BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament, also known as the 2022 Indian Wells Masters, was held from March 07 to 20, 2022 at Indian Wells, California, US. The BNP Paribas Open is the largest two-week combined event outside of the four Grand Slams and the most-attended WTA 1000 and ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tennis tournament in the world.

9th India-Seychelles Joint Military Exercise ‘LAMITIYE-2022’ begins.

The 9th edition of the Joint Military Exercise ‘LAMITIYE-2022’ between the Indian Army and Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) was held from March 22 to 31, 2022 at Seychelles Defence Academy (SDA), Seychelles. The Indian Army contingent will be represented by the 2/3 GORKHA RIFLES group (PIRKANTHI Battalion).
