The 35th Chief Justice of India Ramesh Chandra Lahoti passed away.

Former Chief Justice of India Ramesh Chandra Lahoti died on Wednesday evening in a hospital in Delhi, reported PTI. He was 81-years-old. Lahoti was the 35th chief justice. He was appointed on June 1, 2004, and served till November 1, 2005, according to the National Legal Services Authority.

भारत के पूर्व मुख्य न्यायाधीश रमेश चंद्र लाहोटी का बुधवार शाम दिल्ली के एक अस्पताल में निधन हो गया। वह 81 साल के थे। लाहोटी 35वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश थे। राष्ट्रीय कानूनी सेवा प्राधिकरण के अनुसार, उन्हें 1 जून 2004 को नियुक्त किया गया था और 1 नवंबर 2005 तक सेवा दी गई थी।
