Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the ‘National Cyber Forensic Laboratory’ (NCFL) in Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) campus, Hyderabad on May 14. The NCFL will speed up the process for disposal of cybercrime cases in the country.

Ms.Nidhi Chibber, a senior IAS officer has been appointed as the new chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The order for her appointment was issued by the Ministry of Personnel. She is a 1994 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, is currently serving as the Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Heavy Industries. She replaced Mr.Vineet Joshi. The appointment was made in a top-level bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the Centre.
