The People’s Liberation Army of China will take part in the Vostok-2022 strategic command and staff exercise in Russia, which also includes the armies of India, Belarus, Tajikistan, and Mongolia, according to the country’s defence ministry. China‘s People’s Liberation Army will send some troops to Russia to participate in the Vostok-2022 (East) strategic exercise, in accordance with the two countries’ yearly military cooperation plan and agreement.

State Bank of India (SBI) on Tuesday announced the launch of its first “state-of-the-art” dedicated branch for start-ups in the country here, to facilitate and support them. World Photography Day is celebrated every August 19 of the year. This holiday is also known as the World Photo Day or National Photography Day. It is all about celebrating the art and science of photography. This holiday was founded in 2009 by Korske Ara, an Australian photographer. This day encourages people to pick up their cameras and take pictures of various things in the world around them. Such photos are then meant to be shared with other people around the world.

India will start supplying petrol with 20 per cent ethanol at select petrol pumps from April next year and will ramp up supplies thereafter as it looks to cut oil import dependence and address environmental issues. E20 petrol (petrol blended with 20 per cent ethanol) in some quantity will be available from April 2023 and the rest to be covered by 2025.

Former BCCI administrator Amitabh Choudhary passed away early morning on Tuesday, the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) officials confirmed. He served as BCCI’s joint secretary after paving the path in JSCA for over a decade. Choudhary also stood in as the acting secretary during the Committee of Administrators’ regime in the BCCI. Choudhary was responsible for making Ranchi the main headquarters of JSCA by shifting from Jamshedpur. Soon after, under his guidance, a stadium with 40,000 capacity was built and a stand was named after him.

झारखंड राज्य क्रिकेट संघ (JSCA) के अधिकारियों ने पुष्टि की कि बीसीसीआई के पूर्व प्रशासक अमिताभ चौधरी का मंगलवार तड़के निधन हो गया। एक दशक से अधिक समय तक जेएससीए में मार्ग प्रशस्त करने के बाद उन्होंने बीसीसीआई के संयुक्त सचिव के रूप में कार्य किया। चौधरी बीसीसीआई में प्रशासकों की समिति के शासन के दौरान कार्यवाहक सचिव के रूप में भी खड़े रहे। जमशेदपुर से हटकर रांची को जेएससीए का मुख्य मुख्यालय बनाने के लिए चौधरी जिम्मेदार थे। इसके तुरंत बाद, उनके मार्गदर्शन में, 40,000 क्षमता वाला एक स्टेडियम बनाया गया और उनके नाम पर एक स्टैंड का नाम रखा गया।
