Andhra Pradesh To Set Up World’s Largest Integrated Renewable Energy Storage Project In Kurnool

1. World’s largest integrated renewable energy storage project is being setting up by Greenko Group in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.

The worlds largest Integrated Renewable Energy Storage Project (IRESP) is coming up in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district with an investment of over $3 billion. Chief Minister Y S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday performed the first concrete pour ceremony of the project being implemented by Greenko Group.

ग्रीनको ग्रुप द्वारा कुरनूल, आंध्र प्रदेश में दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी एकीकृत अक्षय ऊर्जा भंडारण परियोजना की स्थापना की जा रही है।

दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी एकीकृत अक्षय ऊर्जा भंडारण परियोजना (आईआरईएसपी) आंध्र प्रदेश के कुरनूल जिले में 3 अरब डॉलर से अधिक के निवेश के साथ आ रही है। मुख्यमंत्री वाई एस जगन मोहन रेड्डी ने मंगलवार को ग्रीनको ग्रुप द्वारा कार्यान्वित की जा रही परियोजना का पहला कंक्रीट डालने का समारोह किया।

 

2. Piramal Group chairman Ajay Gopikisan Piramal has received an honorary commander of the order of the British Empire (CBE) by Her Majesty The Queen.

Ajay Piramal, Chairman of the Piramal Group, has received an honorary Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) award from Queen Elizabeth II. He received the award for his services to the UK-India trade relationship as the Indian Co-Chair of the UK-India CEO Forum.

3. India’s Sift Kaur Samra won the women’s 50M Rifle 3 Positions (3P) gold to make it 10 gold medals for India at the International Shooting Sport Federation Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany.

India’s Sift Kaur Samra won the individual women’s 50m rifle 3 positions (3P) like Prone, the Standing and the Kneeling positions, event to take India’s gold medal tally to 10 at the ISSF Junior World Cup 2022 in Suhl, Germany yesterday. Sift Kaur Samra beat Norway’s Julie Johannessen 17-9 in the final.

भारत की सिफ्ट कौर समरा ने जर्मनी के सुहल में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय निशानेबाजी खेल महासंघ जूनियर विश्व कप में महिलाओं की 50 मीटर राइफल थ्री पोजीशन (3पी) स्वर्ण पदक जीता।

भारत की सिफ्ट कौर समरा ने व्यक्तिगत महिलाओं की 50 मीटर राइफल थ्री पोजीशन (3पी) जैसे प्रोन, स्टैंडिंग और नीलिंग पोजीशन जीती, कल जर्मनी के सुहल में आईएसएसएफ जूनियर विश्व कप 2022 में भारत का स्वर्ण पदक तालिका 10 पर पहुंच गया। सिफ्ट कौर समरा ने फाइनल में नॉर्वे की जूली जोहानसन को 17-9 से हराया।

 

4. Vivek Kumar Dewangen, a 1993 batch IAS officer of Manipur cadre, has been named Chairman & Managing Director, REC Ltd., Ministry of Power. He is currently Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Power.

Vivek Kumar Dewangen is now the Ministry of Power’s Additional Secretary. Nidhi Chibber is the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Heavy Industries. She is a 1994 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Chhattisgarh cadre. She has been appointed as the chairwoman of the CBSE with the status and pay of Additional Secretary to the Indian government.

मणिपुर कैडर के 1993 बैच के आईएएस अधिकारी विवेक कुमार देवांगन को विद्युत मंत्रालय के आरईसी लिमिटेड का अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक बनाया गया है।  वह वर्तमान में विद्युत मंत्रालय में अतिरिक्त सचिव हैं।

विवेक कुमार देवांगन अब बिजली मंत्रालय के अतिरिक्त सचिव हैं। निधि छिब्बर भारी उद्योग मंत्रालय की अतिरिक्त सचिव हैं। वह छत्तीसगढ़ कैडर से 1994 बैच की भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा की अधिकारी हैं। उन्हें भारत सरकार के अतिरिक्त सचिव की स्थिति और वेतन के साथ सीबीएसई की अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।

6. Union Minister Jitendra Singh released an e-book “Civil List – 2022 of IAS officers”.

Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State(MoS), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions released the e-book ‘Civil List – 2022 of IAS officers’ at North Block, Secretariat Building, New Delhi. This is an effort by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) as a part of the Digital India initiative of the Government of India.

7. Stock exchange BSE has approved the appointment of S. S. Mundra, Public Interest Director as the Chairman of the board of directors of the company.

Leading stock exchange BSE Limited announced that it has approved the appointment of SS Mundra, Public Interest Director as the Chairman of the board of directors of the company. Mundra will replace Justice Vikramajit Sen who is the current chairman.

8. Eighteenth-century-born Indian layman Devasahayam Pillai was declared a saint by Pope Francis and the Vatican City, making him the first person from India who got bestowed the title of ‘saint’ by the Vatican.

Saint Devasahayam Pillai, who was an Indian layman of the Catholic church, was a significant part of the church’s history in the 18th century. Pillai is considered a martyr by the church and he led a tough battle against casteism in the country.

अठारहवीं शताब्दी में जन्मे भारतीय आम आदमी देवसहायम पिल्लई को पोप फ्रांसिस और वेटिकन सिटी द्वारा संत घोषित किया गया था, जिससे वे भारत के पहले व्यक्ति बन गए, जिन्हें वेटिकन द्वारा ‘संत‘ की उपाधि दी गई।

संत देवसहायम पिल्लई, जो कैथोलिक चर्च के एक भारतीय आम आदमी थे, 18वीं शताब्दी में चर्च के इतिहास का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा थे। पिल्लई को चर्च द्वारा शहीद माना जाता है और उन्होंने देश में जातिवाद के खिलाफ एक कठिन लड़ाई का नेतृत्व किया।

 

 

9. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan launched the country’s first rural tribal technical training in Bhopal under the ‘Parliamentary Complex Project’ for tribal youth.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Rajeev Chandrashekhar will inaugurate Rural Tribal Technical Training on May 13 at 11 am. Sports and Youth Welfare, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Minister  Yashodhara Raje Scindia, National General Secretary BL Santosh, MP VD Sharma and National President Janjatiya Morcha (tribal front) Samir Oraon will also participate in the programme to be held in Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium.

मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान एवं केन्द्रीय कौशल विकास एवं उद्यमिता राज्य मंत्री श्री राजीव चंद्रशेखर 13 मई को प्रातः 11 बजे ग्रामीण आदिवासी तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण का उद्घाटन करेंगे। कुशाभाऊ ठाकरे सभागार में होने वाले कार्यक्रम में खेल एवं युवा कल्याण, तकनीकी शिक्षा, कौशल विकास एवं रोजगार मंत्री यशोधरा राजे सिंधिया, राष्ट्रीय महासचिव बीएल संतोष, सांसद वीडी शर्मा और राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जनजातीय मोर्चा (आदिवासी मोर्चा) समीर उरांव भी शामिल होंगे |
