PM to address the inaugural session of ‘JITO Connect 2022’

1. The Jeeto Connect 2022 conference was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi.

Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) is a global organisation connecting Jains worldwide. JITO Connect is an endeavour to help business and industry by providing an avenue for mutual networking and personal interactions. ‘JITO Connect 2022’ is a three day event being organized at Gangadham Annex, Pune from 6th to 8th May and will encompass multiple sessions on diverse issues relating to business and economy.

जीतो कनेक्ट 2022 सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने किया।

जैन अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार संगठन (JITO) दुनिया भर में जैनियों को जोड़ने वाला एक वैश्विक संगठन है। जिटो कनेक्ट आपसी नेटवर्किंग और व्यक्तिगत बातचीत के लिए एक अवसर प्रदान करके व्यापार और उद्योग की मदद करने का एक प्रयास है। ‘ जिटो कनेक्ट 2022’ गंगाधाम एनेक्स, पुणे में 6 से 8 मई तक आयोजित होने वाला तीन दिवसीय कार्यक्रम है और इसमें व्यापार और अर्थव्यवस्था से संबंधित विभिन्न मुद्दों पर कई सत्र शामिल होंगे।

2. The Asian Games 2022 to be held in China was postponed to the year 2023.

The Asian Games 2022, which were scheduled to be held in September in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, has been postponed until 2023 due to Covid-19 pandemic. The Olympic Council of Asia confirmed that the Asian Games will be postponed until 2023, news agency Reuters reported on Friday.

चीन में होने वाले एशियाई खेलों 2022 को वर्ष 2023 के लिए स्थगित कर दिया गया था।

एशियाई खेल 2022, जो सितंबर में चीनी शहर हांग्जो में आयोजित होने वाले थे, को कोविड -19 महामारी के कारण 2023 तक के लिए स्थगित कर दिया गया है। समाचार एजेंसी रॉयटर्स ने शुक्रवार को बताया कि एशिया ओलंपिक परिषद ने पुष्टि की कि एशियाई खेलों को 2023 तक के लिए स्थगित कर दिया जाएगा।

3. NSDL’s investor awareness program was launched by Nirmala Sitharaman.

The National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) announced it has launched ‘Market ka Eklavya – Express’, an online investment awareness program for students that will be conducted in 8 different languages including Hindi. The program would serve as a beginner’s guide for investing for the youth, the statement said.

नेशनल सिक्योरिटीज डिपॉजिटरी लिमिटेड (NSDL) ने घोषणा की कि उसने ‘मार्केट का एकलव्य – एक्सप्रेस’ शुरू किया है, जो छात्रों के लिए एक ऑनलाइन निवेश जागरूकता कार्यक्रम है जो हिंदी सहित 8 विभिन्न भाषाओं में आयोजित किया जाएगा। बयान में कहा गया है कि यह कार्यक्रम युवाओं के लिए निवेश के लिए एक शुरुआती मार्गदर्शक के रूप में काम करेगा।

4. Anurag Thakur allocates Rs 363 crore for the world’s biggest film revival project.

After years of efforts, India moved with an earmarked budget allocation for the world’s largest film restoration project under National Film Heritage Mission. The restoration project now awarded would commence at the National Film Archive of India (NFAI) to achieve the goal.

अनुराग ठाकुर ने दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी फिल्म पुनरुद्धार परियोजना के लिए 363 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए।

5. Cases of monkeypox disease have been observed in the UK.

WHO was notified of two laboratory confirmed cases and one probable case of monkeypox, from the same household, in the United Kingdom. On 15 May, four additional laboratory confirmed cases have been reported amongst Sexual Health Services attendees presenting with a vesicular rash illness in men who have sex with men (MSM).

यूके में मंकीपॉक्स रोग के मामले देखे गए।

डब्ल्यूएचओ को यूनाइटेड किंगडम में एक ही घर से दो प्रयोगशाला पुष्ट मामलों और मंकीपॉक्स के एक संभावित मामले के बारे में सूचित किया गया था। 15 मई को, पुरुषों के साथ यौन संबंध रखने वाले पुरुषों (एमएसएम) में वेसिकुलर रैश बीमारी के साथ यौन स्वास्थ्य सेवा में उपस्थित लोगों के बीच चार अतिरिक्त प्रयोगशाला पुष्ट मामले सामने आए हैं।

6. Justices Sudhanshu Dhulia and JB Pardiwala were appointed as judges of the Supreme Court by the President.

The Supreme Court, with 32 judges at present, has 2 vacancies out of the sanctioned strength of 34 judges. With the appointments of Justice Dhulia and Justice Pardiwala, now the court shall function with its full strength. However, the Court is set to see more vacancies soon, with the retirement of Justices Vineet Saran and L Nageswara Rao on May 10 and June 7 respectively. Justice AM Khanwilkar is retiring on July 29. CJI NV Ramana, Justices Indira Banerjee and UU Lalit are retiring in the months of August, September and November respectively.

राष्ट्रपति द्वारा सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश के रूप में जस्टिस सुधांशु धूलिया और जेबी पारदीवाला को  नियुक्त किया गया था।

वर्तमान में 32 न्यायाधीशों वाले सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में 34 न्यायाधीशों की स्वीकृत संख्या में से 2 रिक्तियां हैं। जस्टिस धूलिया और जस्टिस परदीवाला की नियुक्ति से अब कोर्ट पूरी ताकत से काम करेगा | हालाँकि, कोर्ट जल्द ही और रिक्तियों को देखने के लिए तैयार है, क्रमशः 10 मई और 7 जून को जस्टिस विनीत सरन और एल नागेश्वर राव की सेवानिवृत्ति के साथ। जस्टिस एएम खानविलकर 29 जुलाई को सेवानिवृत्त हो रहे हैं। सीजेआई एनवी रमना, जस्टिस इंदिरा बनर्जी और जस्टिस यूयू ललित क्रमशः अगस्त, सितंबर और नवंबर के महीनों में सेवानिवृत्त हो रहे हैं।

7. India’s first green field grain based ethanol plant was inaugurated in Bihar.

Bihar has the distinction of being the first state in the country to set up a greenfield grain-based ethanol production plant. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the state’s first ethanol production plant in Purnia district on Saturday. This is among the 17 ethanol units proposed to be set up in the state.

भारत के पहले ग्रीन फील्ड अनाज आधारित इथेनॉल संयंत्र का उद्घाटन बिहार में किया गया था।

बिहार को अनाज आधारित इथेनॉल उत्पादन संयंत्र स्थापित करने वाला देश का पहला राज्य होने का गौरव प्राप्त है। मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने शनिवार को पूर्णिया जिले में राज्य के पहले एथेनॉल उत्पादन संयंत्र का उद्घाटन किया. यह राज्य में स्थापित होने वाली प्रस्तावित 17 इथेनॉल इकाइयों में से एक है।

8. India’s first Regional Rapid Transit System train set completed in Gujarat.

The first trainset of India’s first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) was handed over to National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) at the manufacturing factory located in Gujarat’s Savli on Saturday.

भारत का पहला क्षेत्रीय रैपिड ट्रांजिट सिस्टम ट्रेन सेट गुजरात में पूरा हुआ।

भारत के पहले क्षेत्रीय रैपिड ट्रांजिट सिस्टम (आरआरटीएस) की पहली ट्रेन शनिवार को गुजरात के सावली स्थित निर्माण कारखाने में राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र परिवहन निगम (एनसीआरटीसी) को सौंपी गई।
