Gupta is a 1987-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Punjab cadre. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Gupta’s appointment as the Director General, NIA till March 31, 2024, that is the date of his retirement, it said. In another order, Swagar Das was appointed Special Secretary (Internal Security) in the Home Ministry. Das, a 1987-batch IPS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, is currently Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau. Das has been appointed to the post till November 30, 2024, that is the date of his superannuation, the order said.

गुप्ता 1987 बैच के पंजाब कैडर के भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (आईपीएस) अधिकारी हैं। कैबिनेट की नियुक्ति समिति ने 31 मार्च, 2024, यानी उनकी सेवानिवृत्ति की तारीख तक एनआईए के महानिदेशक के रूप में गुप्ता की नियुक्ति को मंजूरी दे दी है। एक अन्य आदेश में स्वगर दास को गृह मंत्रालय में विशेष सचिव (आंतरिक सुरक्षा) नियुक्त किया गया है। छत्तीसगढ़ कैडर के 1987 बैच के आईपीएस अधिकारी दास वर्तमान में इंटेलिजेंस ब्यूरो में विशेष निदेशक हैं। आदेश में कहा गया है कि दास को 30 नवंबर, 2024 तक पद पर नियुक्त किया गया है, जो उनकी सेवानिवृत्ति की तारीख है।
NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) launched GSAT-24, following the space reforms leasing the entire satellite’s capacity to Direct-to-Home (DTH) service provider Tata Play. This was the company’s first “demand-driven” communication satellite mission. The satellite, developed by the Indian Space Research Organization for NSIL, was successfully launched into geostationary orbit from Kourou in French Guiana by the Ariane 5 rocket (South America).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday inaugurated the Centre for Brain Research (CBR) set up at a cost of Rs 280 crore at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) campus. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सोमवार को भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान (आईआईएससी) परिसर में 280 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से स्थापित सेंटर फॉर ब्रेन रिसर्च (सीबीआर) का उद्घाटन किया। केंद्र की आधारशिला भी पीएम ने रखी। प्रधानमंत्री ने कार्यक्रम के दौरान 832 बिस्तरों वाले बागची पार्थसारथी मल्टीस्पेशलिटी अस्पताल की आधारशिला भी रखी।

IRCTC is the first Indian agency to connect the two countries through a tourist train. Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy flagged off the train from Safdarjung station. The train will pass through Bihar, UP, Maharashtra, MP, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. It will cover major cities like Ayodhya, Janakpur, Buxar, Kashi, Sitamarhi, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Hampi, Nasik, Kanchipuram, Rameshwaram, and Bhadrachalam. The itinerary also includes a visit to the Ram Janaki temple in Janakpur, Nepal. The train has a capacity of 600 people. Single occupancy will cost Rs 71,820, double occupancy Rs 62,370, triple occupancy Rs 62,370, and Rs 56,700 for child with bed (5-11 years).
पहली भारत-नेपाल भारत गौरव पर्यटक ट्रेन को सफदरजंग रेलवे स्टेशन से हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया गया है।
आईआरसीटीसी पहली भारतीय एजेंसी है जो दोनों देशों को एक पर्यटक ट्रेन के माध्यम से जोड़ती है। रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव और पर्यटन एवं संस्कृति मंत्री जी किशन रेड्डी ने सफदरजंग स्टेशन से ट्रेन को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया | ट्रेन बिहार, यूपी, महाराष्ट्र, एमपी, तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक, तेलंगाना और आंध्र प्रदेश से होकर गुजरेगी। इसमें अयोध्या, जनकपुर, बक्सर, काशी, सीतामढ़ी, चित्रकूट, प्रयागराज, हम्पी, नासिक, कांचीपुरम, रामेश्वरम और भद्राचलम जैसे प्रमुख शहर शामिल होंगे। यात्रा कार्यक्रम में नेपाल के जनकपुर में राम जानकी मंदिर की यात्रा भी शामिल है। ट्रेन की क्षमता 600 लोगों की है। सिंगल ऑक्यूपेंसी की कीमत 71,820 रुपये, डबल ऑक्यूपेंसी 62,370 रुपये, ट्रिपल ऑक्यूपेंसी 62,370 रुपये और बिस्तर वाले बच्चे के लिए 56,700 रुपये (5-11 साल) होगी।
