SBI SO Exam

State Bank of India (SBI) is a Public Sector Bank which conducts annual SBI SO Recruitment exercise for eligible candidates every calendar year.

SBI SO Exam Pattern 2021

The SBI SO Selection Process 2021 consists of two stages i.e. online written test, followed by an interview round. The written test will carry questions from a total of 4 subjects for all the posts. Those candidates who will clear the online test will be called for the interview round. Only those candidates who clear both the stages will be appointed as Specialist Officer in State Bank of India. The stage-wise SBI SO Exam Pattern 2021 is given below:

Written Exam

For the post of Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, and IT Security Expert

• The written examination will be conducted in the online mode,
• All the four subjects asked in the examination will be qualifying in nature,
• The questions asked in the examination will be in the form of MCQ. Each question will have four options and candidates will have to mark the correct option,
• The questions asked in all the subjects will be bilingual in nature except for the English language paper.
• The marking scheme of the written examination will be 1 mark for each correct answer while there is no provision of negative marking.

For the post of Project Manager, Application Architect and Technical Lead

The candidates can check the exam pattern for the post of Project Manager, Application Architect and Technical Lead in the space below:

• The written examination will be held in the computer-based test.
• There will be five sections in the Project Manager, Application architect and technical lead viz
• Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Role-based Knowledge and IT Professional Knowledge.
• The candidates will also get 1 mark for each correct answer marked by the candidate in the written test.

Interview

The candidates who will qualify the online entrance test will be called for the interview round. The interview is conducted for a total of 25 marks. The weightage of the online written test to interview is 70:30. The final merit list of the SBI SO will be derived on the basis of the marks obtained in both the written exam and interview. Only those candidates who qualify all the rounds of the selection process will be appointed as SBI Specialist Officer.
