Many Exams are Conducted by Railway Recruitment Board under 21 RRB Boards in India. For the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) i.e., Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. This Exam is Conducted in two stages (CBT-1 and CBT-2) which will be Conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT).

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official notification for the RRB NTPC recruitment 2019-2020 exam on 28 February 2019. Through this recruitment process, RRB will recruit 35,208 vacancies for the posts of NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) i.e. Junior Clerk cum Typist. , Accounts clerk cum typist, junior timekeeper, train clerk, commercial cum ticket clerk, traffic assistant, goods guard, senior commercial cum ticket clerk, senior clerk cum typist, junior account assistant cum typist, senior timekeeper, commercial apprentice, and station master In various zonal railways and production units of Indian Railways. Candidates who have minimum educational qualification 12th (10+2 stage) or its equivalent examination and are seeking a government jobs in Indian Railways can apply for Railway NTPC 2019 recruitment exam.

(1) The Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as specified in Para 11.0 are exempted from appearing for PET. However, after qualifying in the CBT, such candidates will have to pass the medical examination prescribed for PwBD.
(2) It is the candidates’ responsibility to ensure that they are medically fit enough to attempt the PET. Railways will not be responsible for any injury/harm suffered by candidates as a result of participating in the PET.

The normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage CBT shall be used for shortlisting the candidates for document verification for the posts which do not have a Typing Skill Test/Computer-based Aptitude Test. For the posts having Typing Skill Test/Computer-based Aptitude Test, the normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage CBT shall be used for shortlisting the candidates for Typing Skill Test/Computer-based Aptitude Test.
For the posts, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Junior Time Keeper.
The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
Typing Skill Test (TST) of qualifying nature (marks obtained in typing skill test shall not be added for making merit) shall be conducted for which the number of candidates equal to eight times the number of vacancies for each of the community shall be called for.
The merit will be drawn only for the candidates qualified in the TST or TST exempted PwBD candidates based on performance in 2nd Stage CBT.
