UPSSSC PET 2022 Exam Summary:

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has released the notification of Preliminary Eligibility Test 2022 (UPSSSC PET 2022). The application process has also started and the last date of application is 27 July 2022. The PET Exam 2022 will be held on 18 September 2022.

UPSSSC PET 2022 Online Form:

UPSSSC Online Form link to apply online for the UPSSSC PET 2022 has been activated along with the release of notification on 28th June 2022. The last date to submit UPSSSC PET Application Form is 27th July 2022. All the application and registration processes have to do only online mode. UPSSSC PET 2022 Application Fee:

The application fee for the UP PET exam 2022 has been released along with the UPSSSC PET notification pdf. The application fee can be paid through debit/credit card, internet banking, and SBI e-challan. 

Fees shall neither be refunded nor carried forward if the application for UPSSSC PET 2022 is rejected/the candidature is found to be ineligible or the candidate is unable to appear in the examination.

UPSSSC PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

The Eligibility Criteria, Educational Qualification, and age limit for the UP PET exam 2022 have been released along with the UPSSSC PET 2022 notification pdf on 28th June 2022. Candidates who want to appear for UPSSSC PET 2022 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria if they do not qualify for the eligibility conditions their application may lead to rejection.

UPSSSC PET Educational Qualification:

Only the candidates who have passed High school/ class 10th or any other equivalent exam can apply for UPSSSC PET 2022. Those who have not passed High school cannot apply.

UPSSSC PET Nationality:

Applying candidates must be of Indian nationality. Although it is not specifically stated that the candidate must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh. Students looking to find placements in Uttar Pradesh can apply for the job since the state is the only location for the job placement.

UPSSSC PET Age Limit (as of 01/07/2022):

The candidate must be aged between 18 to 40 years as of 01st July 2022. The candidates must have been born between 01st July 1982 to 01st July 2004. The age relaxations shall be applicable to the following categories:

UPSSSC PET 2022 Selection Process:

After the implementation of UPSSSC PET 2022 scores, only those candidates who score well in UPSSSC PET 2022 will be called for the upcoming Group ‘B & C’ main examinations for the particular posts. If anyone has not enrolled themselves for the UP PET 2022 then they will not be able to appear in the main Exams against any vacancies and hence it is mandatory to appear for UPSSSC PET 2022. The selection process for any UPSSSC recruitment will be as follows:

1. Scoring minimum qualifying marks in PET written exam
2. Main Exam of the concerned post
3. Interview/Skill Test (if applicable)
4. Document Verification

UPSSSC PET 2022 Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern as per the recent notice released for the PET is as follows:

1. The exam will consist of objective type multiple choice questions
2. A total of 100 such questions will be asked.
3. The duration of the exam shall be 2 hours.
4. Wrong answers will result in a negative marking of 1/4th mark.
5. The difficulty of questions for topics from sr. no. 1 to 9 shall be as per NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary level.

UPSSSC PET Salary, PayScale, Perks, Benefits:

In the official notification, it has been mentioned that the PET exam will be conducted for the posts which have their salary above Pay Scale 1 (5200-20200) Grade pay 1900/- and below Pay Scale 2 (9300-34800) Grade Pay 4600/-.Apart from the basics, there are various perks associated with the posts as well like DA, HRA, traveling allowance, etc. as well, which takes the in-hand salary from Rs 25000 to Rs 37000 initially depending on the post.

UPSSSC PET 2022 Admit Card:

The PET Admit Card will be issued on the UPSSSC official website for the candidates around 10 days before the exam date. The candidates must download the admit card and get a hard copy of it as the commission will not send any admit cards to the candidates individually. Follow these steps to download the admit card

Step 1: Go to the official website of UPSSSC.

Step 2: Click on the “Examination Interview” tab. 

Step 3: Now click on the option to download of admit card.

Step 4: Enter the required details and the admit card will be generated. 

UPSSSC PET Answer Key 2022:

After the conduction of the UPSSSC PET Exam 2022, the commission will release the provisional answer key on its official website and challenges will be accepted to the answer key for a limited period of time. The final UP PET answer key will be released once the objections are assessed.

UPSSSC PET 2022 Result:

After taking UPSSSC PET Exam 2022 the merit list of shortlisted candidates will be prepared for appearing in the Group B & C main Exams for particular posts and vacancies released from time to time. The merit list will be prepared category wise i.e. UR, OBC, SC/ST.The UPSSSC PET exam will be qualifying in nature. The candidates need to clear the cut-off to qualify for the mains examination. The cut-off shall be different for different posts. The merit list of the candidates will be released on the UPSSSC website. The candidates can download the merit list to check their scores and then wait for the cut-off. Follow the steps below to download the result.
