CUET Exam 2022
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), earlier known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is an all-India test being organized by the National Testing Agency for admission to various Undergraduate, Integrated, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses, and Research Programmes in 45 Central Universities of India. It is also accepted by the number of other State Universities and Deemed universities in India. CUCET was first conducted to admission for seven central universities for 1,500 seats in 41 undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated courses from 2010. The application form was filled up through CUCET-2010 which held on 19 and 20 June 2010 in about 30 examination centers spread across the country. From its inception in 2010 till 2020, the CUCET was conducted by the Central University of Rajasthan for 12 Central Universities. The National Testing Agency took over the conduct of these exams in 2021. In 2022, as a part of National Education Policy 2020, CUET is introduced as a revamped version of CUCET making it compulsory for all 45 central universities to adopt it.
CUET has now been made mandatory by DU and other Universities. This exam will exclusively determine the college and program of the student in the academic session of 2022-23, while students’ board marks will only be the minimum eligibility criteria for admission.

CUET 2022- Important Dates
By the first week of April 2022, the official CUCET 2022 notice for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is likely to be issued. The online registration process for the CUCET entrance exam 2022 will be held tentatively by NTA in April 2022. The NTA CUET 2022 online test is scheduled to begin in the first week of July 2022. CUET 2022 Notification
University Grants Commission (UGC) has released a notice regarding the CUET 2022 exam. As per the CUET Notification 2022, CUET-UG 2022 will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in the 1st week of July 2022 and the online application process for the same will be conducted from 06th April 2022 to 22th May 2022. CUET 2022 Application Form
CUET 2022 Application process will be open for a month, from 6th April 2022 to 22th May 2022. The registration process will occur on the official website of CUET. The official website of CUET is https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
The CUET 2022 application process contains the following steps:
- Visit the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/ for registration.
- Click on ‘Apply Online’ and choose the program as per your wish UG, PG or RP. Fill out the necessary details and captcha.
- Once the registration is completed, an application number and a password are generated and sent to the registered mobile number and email address. Use this information to log in.
- Fill in all the required personal, academic, and communication details in the application form.
- Upload images and required documents in the prescribed format.
- Select the examination centre as per your convenience.
- As the last step, You will receive a payment link on the registered email and mobile number. Pay the application fees through available mediums.
CUET 2022 Application Fee
CUET 2022 Application Fee can be paid by debit/credit card/net banking or Challan of SBI bank any branch. Candidates have to pay the application fee either online or offline mode. CUET 2022 Admit Card
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CUET 2022 admit card on the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in. To download the CUET admit card 2022, candidates will have to enter their application number and password or date of birth in the admit card link which will be available on the NTA CUET website. CUET 2022 Cut Off
Candidates who have qualified for CUET 2022 will be called for counseling. The exam conducting authority will announce the CUET Cutoff 2022 after completion of the CUET 2022 examination. CUET 2022 Counselling
Each participating university will begin its CUET 2022 counseling process post the release of the CUET Result 2022. The candidates have to visit the official website of the participating universities of CUET 2022 regularly to participate in the counseling process as they have to register themselves in the counseling of CUET 2022 and select the desired programmes within a limited period of time. While participating in the counseling, candidates have to carry the required documents along with them for verification. CUET Exam 2022 FAQs
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate courses offered by the Central Universities including Delhi University, BHU, Jamia Milia Islamia, JNU, AMU, University of Allahabad, the University of Hyderabad among others. The exam will test one’s language aptitude, subject knowledge, and general mental ability.
CUET scores will be used for admissions to undergraduate courses of 45 Central Universities including Delhi University, BHU, Jamia Milia Islamia, JNU, AMU, University of Allahabad, the University of Hyderabad among others. TISS and seven other institutions have also shown their eagerness to accept CUET Scores for admissions to their undergraduate courses.
CUET will be conducted in online mode as a Computer-Based Test by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam will be conducted in the first week of July.
As per basic CUET eligibility criteria, the candidate who passed the 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognized board can apply. Minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for General category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates. Subjects required are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, And/ OR Biology depending upon the course you are looking for.
CUET is designed to evaluate one’s understanding of language, knowledge of subjects studied in class XII, and general reasoning and quantitative skills. The paper will comprise three sections: Language, Subject Domain Test, and General Aptitude Test.
CUET is expected to be conducted in two slots with each slot having a time duration of four hours.
