Ability Electric Inc. (Liability), based in California, United States, has announced its intention to set up the world’s largest electric three-wheeler manufacturing facility in Telangana. The plant will be built in two phases over an area of 200 acres. Phase I of 13.5 acres with a capacity to produce 18000 Electric Vehicles (EVs) per year will be commissioned in 2023 and the massive 200-acre facility with a production capacity of 240,000 EVs per year will be commissioned in 2024.

कैलिफ़ोर्निया, संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में स्थित बिलिटी इलेक्ट्रिक इंक (बिलिटी) ने तेलंगाना में दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी इलेक्ट्रिक थ्री-व्हीलर निर्माण सुविधा स्थापित करने की अपनी मंशा की घोषणा की है। यह संयंत्र दो चरणों में 200 एकड़ क्षेत्र में बनाया जाएगा। प्रति वर्ष 18000 इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन (ईवी) उत्पादन की क्षमता के साथ 13.5 एकड़ का पहला चरण 2023 में चालू हो जाएगा और 240000 ईवी प्रति वर्ष की उत्पादन क्षमता वाली 200 एकड़ की बड़ी सुविधा 2024 में चालू हो जाएगी।
Patrick Achi has been reappointed as the Prime Minister of Ivory Coast by President Alessin Ouattara. He was appointed Prime Minister in March 2021. He was the third prime minister in the West African state (Ivory Coast) in the last three years after Amadou Gon Koulibaly (who died in 2020) and Hamid Bakayoko (who died in 2021).

West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard has announced his retirement from international cricket. Pollard, who was the captain of the limited overs team of West Indies, played a total of 123 ODIs and 101 T20 matches. He has been an integral part of the Mumbai Indians team in the Indian Premier League for many years and was retained by the franchise ahead of the mega auction in February this year. He was part of the West Indies team that won the 2012 ICC WT20 and missed out on their second T20 World Cup title in 2016 as he missed the tournament due to injury.

Ajay Kumar Sood, a member of the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council, has been appointed for a period of three years in place of eminent biologist K Vijayaraghavan. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Sood as Principal Scientific Adviser to the government.

India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has launched an initiative called FinCluvation as the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence. FinCluvation is a joint initiative to collaborate with the fintech startup community to co-create and find solutions for financial inclusion. Finclavation will be IPPB’s permanent platform for creating inclusive financial solutions with the participating start-ups.

इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक (आईपीपीबी) ने भारतीय स्वतंत्रता की 75 वीं वर्षगांठ मनाने के लिए आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव के अवसर के रूप में फिनक्लुवेशन नामक एक पहल शुरू की है। फिनक्लूवेशन वित्तीय समावेशन के लिए सह-निर्माण और समाधान खोजने के लिए फिनटेक स्टार्टअप समुदाय के साथ सहयोग करने की एक संयुक्त पहल है। फिनक्लुवेशन भाग लेने वाले स्टार्ट-अप के साथ समावेशी वित्तीय समाधान तैयार करने के लिए आईपीपीबी का स्थायी मंच होगा।
World Earth Day, also known as International Mother Earth Day, is observed every year on 22 April. This day will be celebrated all over the world to spread awareness for the betterment of the earth and to encourage people to support environmental protection. The day focuses on the global climate crisis which is getting worse with each passing day. World Earth Day 2022 will mark the 52nd anniversary of the day since it started being celebrated in 1970. In 2009, Earth Day was officially renamed International Mother Earth Day by the United Nations. The theme of Earth Day 2022 is ‘Invest in our planet’.
