1. Indian golfer, Aditi Ashok won the Kenya Ladies Open title 2023

Indian golfer, Aditi Ashok won her fourth Ladies European Tour title at the Kenya Ladies Open 2023 golf tournament held at Wipingo Ridge, Kenya. Last won a Ladies European Tour golf tournament in 2017. She carded 12-under to finish ahead of Alice Hewson (Eng) and April Angurasarani (Thailand), who finished with the same final score of 3-under. Meanwhile, India’s Avni Prashant finished tied ninth and Amandeep Drall tied 52nd.

भारतीय गोल्फ खिलाड़ी, अदिति अशोक ने केन्या लेडीज ओपन खिताब 2023 जीता

भारतीय गोल्फ खिलाड़ी, अदिति अशोक ने केन्या के विपिंगो रिज में आयोजित केन्या लेडीज ओपन 2023 गोल्फ टूर्नामेंट में अपना चौथा लेडीज यूरोपियन टूर खिताब जीता। अंत‍िम बार 2017 में लेडीज यूरोपियन टूर गोल्फ टूर्नामेंट जीता  था।  उन्‍होंने एलिस ह्युसन (इंग्लैंड) और अप्रैल अंगुरासरानी (थाईलैंड) से आगे निकलने हेतु 12-अंडर का कार्ड बनाया, जो 3-अंडर के समान अंतिम स्कोर के साथ समाप्त हुआ। इसी दौरान, भारत की अवनि प्रशांत संयुक्त नौवें और अमनदीप द्राल संयुक्त 52वें स्थान पर रहे |

 

2. Mahindra Finance appoints Raul Rebelo as MD & CEO

The board of directors of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited nominated Raul Rebello as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He will succeed Ramesh Iyer, who retires on April 29, 2023. Presently, he is serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company. Prior to joining Mahindra Financial, he served as Executive Vice President and Head of Rural Credit and Financial Inclusion at Axis Bank Ltd.

महिंद्रा फाइनेंस ने राउल रेबेलो को एमडी और सीईओ नियुक्त किया

महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज लिमिटेड के निदेशक मंडल ने राउल रेबेलो को प्रबंध निदेशक (एमडी) और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) नामित किया। वह रमेश अय्यर का स्थान लेंगे, जो 29 अप्रैल, 2023 को सेवानिवृत्त होंगे। वर्तमान में, वह कंपनी के मुख्य परिचालन अधिकारी (सीओओ) के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। महिंद्रा फाइनेंशियल में शामिल होने से पहले, उन्होंने एक्सिस बैंक लिमिटेड में ग्रामीण ऋण और वित्तीय समावेशन के कार्यकारी उपाध्यक्ष और प्रमुख के रूप में कार्य किया।

 

3. Center approves appointment of five Supreme Court judges

President of India Draupadi Murmu has approved the appointment of five new judges of the Supreme Court. The number of judges in the Supreme Court will be increased to 32 (sanctioned number: 34). They will be sworn in by CJI DY Chandrachud on February 6

There are 5 appointed judges:

(1) Pankaj Mithal (CJ of Rajasthan)

(2) Sanjay Karol, (CJ of Patna)

(3) PV Sanjay Kumar, (CJ of Manipur)

(4) Ahsanuddin Amanullah (Judge, Patna High Court)

(5) Manoj Mishra (Judge, Allahabad High Court)

केंद्र ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पांच न्‍यायाधीशों की नियुक्ति को मंजूरी दी

भारत की राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पांच नए न्यायाधीशों की नियुक्ति को मंजूरी दी। सुप्रीम कोर्ट में न्यायाधीशों की संख्या बढ़ाकर 32 (स्वीकृत संख्या: 34) की जाएगी। वे 6 फरवरी को सीजेआई डी.वाई चंद्रचूड़ द्वारा शपथ लेंगे

5 नियुक्त न्यायाधीश हैं:

(1) पंकज मिठल (राजस्थान के सीजे)

(2) संजय करोल, (पटना के सीजे)

(3) पीवी संजय कुमार, (मणिपुर के सीजे)

(4) अहसानुद्दीन अमानुल्लाह (न्यायाधीश, पटना उच्च न्यायालय)

(5) मनोज मिश्रा (न्यायाधीश, इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय)

 

4. Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of Nano Urea Plant in Jharkhand

Union HM, Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of Rs 450 crore Nano Urea plant and township of Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative (IFFCO) at Deoghar, Jharkhand. This will be the fifth Nano Urea plant in India. In 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the world’s first Nano Urea Plant in Gujarat. Nano Urea improves crop productivity, soil health and nutritional quality of the produce. Objective: To address the imbalanced and excessive use of conventional urea.

अमित शाह ने झारखंड में नैनो यूरिया प्लांट की नींव रखी

यूनियन एचएम, अमित शाह ने देवघर, झारखंड में 450 करोड़ के नैनो यूरिया प्लांट और भारतीय किसान उर्वरक सहकारी (इफको) के टाउनशिप की आधारशिला रखी। यह भारत में पांचवां नैनो यूरिया प्‍लांट होगा। 2022 में, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुजरात में दुनिया के पहले नैनो यूरिया प्‍लांट का उद्घाटन किया। नैनो यूरिया फसल की उत्पादकता, मृदा स्वास्थ्य और उपज की पोषण गुणवत्ता में सुधार करता है। उद्देश्य: पारंपरिक यूरिया के असंतुलित और अत्यधिक उपयोग को संबोधित करना।

 

5. Sri Lanka is celebrating 75th Independence Day

Sri Lanka completed 75 years of its independence from British rule on February 4, 2023. Theme: Namo Namo Math – A step towards a century. The main function of the National Independence Day celebrations was held at Galle Face Green in Colombo. A special cultural arts festival, Lankaralanka, was organized at the Independence Square in Colombo. The event was attended by Union Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan.

श्रीलंका 75वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस मना रहा है

श्रीलंका ने 4 फरवरी, 2023 को ब्रिटिश शासन से अपनी स्वतंत्रता के 75 वर्ष पूरे किए।  थीम: नमो नमो मठ – एक सदी की ओर एक कदम। राष्ट्रीय स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह का मुख्य समारोह कोलंबो में गाले फेस ग्रीन में आयोजित किया गया था। कोलंबो के इंडिपेंडेंस स्क्वायर में एक विशेष सांस्कृतिक कला उत्सव, लंकरालंका का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में केंद्रीय विदेश राज्य मंत्री वी. मुरलीधरन ने भाग लिया।

 

6. Indian Railways launches Garvi Gujarat Yatra

Indian Railways has launched Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC tourist train under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ scheme. This “Garvi Gujarat” Yatra will depart from Delhi Safdarjung station on 28 February. Objective: To showcase the heritage of vibrant Gujarat. Major Attractions: The Statue of Unity, Champaner, Somnath, Dwarka, Nageshwar, Bet Dwarka, Ahmedabad, Modhera and Patan. IRCTC has also tied up with payment gateways to provide EMI payment option to the customers.

भारतीय रेलवे ने गरवी गुजरात यात्रा की शुरुआत की

भारतीय रेलवे ने ‘एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत’ योजना के तहत भारत गौरव डीलक्स एसी टूरिस्ट ट्रेन शुरू की है। यह “गरवी गुजरात” यात्रा 28 फरवरी को दिल्ली सफदरजंग स्टेशन से प्रस्थान करेगी। उद्देश्य: जीवंत गुजरात की विरासत को प्रदर्शित करना। प्रमुख आकर्षण: द स्‍टैचू ऑफ यूनिटी, चंपानेर, सोमनाथ, द्वारका, नागेश्वर, बेट द्वारका, अहमदाबाद, मोढेरा और पाटन। आईआरसीटीसी ने ग्राहकों को ईएमआई भुगतान विकल्प उपलब्ध कराने हेतु पेमेंट गेटवे के साथ भी करार किया है। 

 

 

7. PM Modi to dedicate HAL’s helicopter manufacturing plant to the nation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation a helicopter manufacturing plant of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Tumakuru (Karnataka). The ‘Greenfield Helicopter Factory’ will manufacture light utility helicopters. It has Heli-Runway, Flight Hangar, Final Assembly Hangar, Structure Assembly Hangar, Air Traffic Control and Support Services. It fully complies with Industry 4.0 standard tools and techniques for its operations.

पीएम मोदी एचएएल का हेलीकॉप्टर निर्माण संयंत्र राष्ट्र को समर्पित करेंगे

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी तुमकुरु (कर्नाटक) में हिंदुस्तान एयरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड (HAL) का एक हेलीकॉप्टर निर्माण संयंत्र राष्ट्र को समर्पित करेंगे। ‘ग्रीनफील्ड हेलीकॉप्टर फैक्ट्री’ लाइट यूटिलिटी हेलीकॉप्टर का निर्माण करेगी। इसमें हेली-रनवे, फ्लाइट हैंगर, फाइनल असेंबली हैंगर, स्ट्रक्चर असेंबली हैंगर, एयर ट्रैफिक कंट्रोल और सपोर्ट सर्विसेज हैं। यह अपने संचालन के लिए उद्योग 4.0 मानक उपकरणों और तकनीकों का पूरी तरह से अनुपालन करता है।

 

8. NASA-ISRO joint satellite ‘NISAR’ to be launched in 2024

NASA and ISRO plan to launch Nisar, a joint satellite, in 2024. NISAR refers to the NASA-ISRO SAR, a Low Earth Orbit Observatory. It will also provide spatially and temporally coherent data to understand changes in Earth’s ecosystems, ice mass, vegetation biomass, sea level rise, landslides etc.

नासा-इसरो का संयुक्त उपग्रह ‘निसार’ 2024 में लॉन्च किया जाएगा

नासा और इसरो के एक संयुक्त उपग्रह निसार को 2024 में लॉन्च करने की योजना। NISAR, NASA-ISRO SAR को संदर्भित करता है, जो एक लो अर्थ ऑर्बिट वैधशाला है। पृथ्वी के पारिस्थितिक तंत्र, बर्फ के द्रव्यमान, वनस्पति बायोमास, समुद्र के स्तर में वृद्धि, भूस्खलन आदि में परिवर्तन को समझने हेतु स्थानिक और अस्थायी रूप से सुसंगत डेटा भी प्रदान करेगा |

 

9. Punjab cabinet approves new industrial and electric vehicle policies

The Punjab cabinet, chaired by CM Bhagwant Mann, approved new industrial and electric vehicle policies. Electric Vehicles: Incentives for adoption of electric vehicles under the Vehicle Scrapping Policy. Charging stations will also be set up. The new industrial policy has projected Punjab as a preferred investment destination. Introduction of public mining sites to ensure that sand and gravel are available to the common people at reasonable rates.

पंजाब कैबिनेट ने नई औद्योगिक और इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन नीतियों को मंजूरी दी

सीएम भगवंत मान की अध्यक्षता में पंजाब कैबिनेट ने नई औद्योगिक और इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन नीतियों को मंजूरी दी। इलेक्‍ट्रि‍क वाहन: व्हीकल स्क्रैपिंग पॉलिसी के तहत इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को अपनाने वालों के लिए प्रोत्साहन। चार्जिंग स्टेशन भी स्‍थापित किए जाएंगे। नई औद्योगिक नीति ने पंजाब को पसंदीदा निवेश गंतव्य के रूप में पेश किया है। आम लोगों को उचित दर पर रेत और बजरी उपलब्ध हो यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सार्वजनिक खनन स्थलों की शुरूआत।

 

10. DA&FW, DIL to improve food security and double farmer’s income: MoU

The Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (DA&FW) under the Ministry of Agriculture signed an MoU with the Development Innovation Lab (DIL) at the University of Chicago. Cause: To explore opportunities to use innovation to improve food security, address climate change and allow farmers to increase their income. It will look at innovation opportunities related to agriculture and food security in the context of climate change.

DA&FW,DIL ने खाद्य सुरक्षा में सुधार और किसान की आय को दोगुना करने हेतु : MoU

कृषि मंत्रालय के तहत कृषि और किसान कल्याण विभाग (DA&FW) ने शिकागो विश्वविद्यालय में डेवलपमेंट इनोवेशन लैब (DIL) के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए। कारण: खाद्य सुरक्षा में सुधार, जलवायु परिवर्तन को संबोधित करने और किसानों को अपनी आय बढ़ाने की अनुमति देने हेतु नवाचार का उपयोग करने के अवसरों का पता लगाना। यह जलवायु परिवर्तन के संदर्भ में कृषि और खाद्य सुरक्षा से संबंधित नवाचार के अवसरों पर गौर करेगा।
