Exercise Cyclone-I, the first combined training session between the special forces of the Indian Army and the Egyptian Army, has been taking place in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and commenced on January 14, 2023. The exercise focuses on professional skill sharing and Special Forces interoperability in a desert environment while conducting counterterrorism, reconnaissance, raids, and other special operations. It aims to strengthen defense cooperation between the two countries.

The India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline Project, signed in 2018 , will connect Siliguri in West Bengal in India and Parbatipur in Dinajpur district of Bangladesh. The Friendship pipeline from India will start supplying diesel to Bangladesh from June. The 131.5 kilometer long pipeline has been constructed for importing diesel from India, 126.5 km of which is in Bangladesh and 5 km in India.The IBFPL project aims to facilitate the transportation of imported fuel oil and reduce its transport costs for Bangladesh.

2018 में हस्ताक्षरित भारत-बांग्लादेश मैत्री पाइपलाइन परियोजना, भारत में पश्चिम बंगाल में सिलीगुड़ी और बांग्लादेश के दिनाजपुर जिले के परबतीपुर को जोड़ेगी। भारत से मैत्री पाइपलाइन जून से बांग्लादेश को डीजल की आपूर्ति शुरू कर देगी। भारत से डीजल आयात करने के लिए 131.5 किलोमीटर लंबी पाइपलाइन का निर्माण किया गया है, जिसमें से 126.5 किमी बांग्लादेश में और 5 किमी भारत में है। IBFPL परियोजना का उद्देश्य आयातित ईंधन तेल के परिवहन को सुविधाजनक बनाना और बांग्लादेश के लिए इसकी परिवहन लागत को कम करना है।
External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar has said India will stand by Sri Lanka in its hour of need to overcome the challenges it currently faces. He added that India has taken proactive steps and extended financial assurances to the IMF without waiting for the other creditors. Dr Jaishankar added that India is a reliable neighbour and a trustworthy partner who is prepared to go to the extra mile. He said this during his official visit to Sri Lanka. With this announcement India has become the first creditor nation to extend assurance towards restructuring the debt of Sri Lanka as the island nation makes efforts to unlock a bridge financing package from IMF.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to conduct Exercise PRALAY in the northeastern sector of India amid the unresolved contention with China about differing perceptions regarding the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between the two nations. The exercise will involve major air bases of the IAF in the northeast in addition to the recently deployed drone squadron.
