Australian women’s cricket team defeated South Africa by 9 runs to lift the ICC T20 World Cup Trophy 2023 at Newlands, Cricket Ground in Cape Town, South Africa. The Australian women’s cricket team has won this title for the sixth time. They have completed the ‘three-peat’ by winning in 2018, 2020 and 2023 under the captaincy of Meg Lanning.

Indian Greco-Roman wrestler Ankit Gulia (19) won a bronze medal in the men’s 72kg category at the Ibrahim Mustafa Ranking Series in Alexandria, Egypt. He lost to Otar Abuladze (Georgia) and beat Nurzhigit Keneshbek Ulu (Kyrgyzstan) in the repechage round. The Indian wrestler won the medal after Iranian 67kg Olympic champion Mohammadreza Abdolhamid Gerei had to withdraw from the bronze medal match due to injury.

भारतीय ग्रीको रोमन पहलवान अंकित गुलिया (19) ने मिस्र के अलेक्जेंड्रिया में इब्राहिम मुस्तफा रैंकिंग सीरीज में पुरुषों के 72 किग्रा वर्ग में कांस्य पदक जीता। वह ओतर अबुलाद्जे (जॉर्जिया) से हार गए और रेपेचेज राउंड में नूरजिगिट केनेशबेक उलू (किर्गिस्तान) को हराया। भारतीय पहलवान ने यह पदक तब जीता जब ईरानी 67 किग्रा ओलंपिक चैंपियन मोहम्मदरेजा अब्दोलहामिद गेरेई को चोट के कारण कांस्य पदक मैच से हटना पड़ा।
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Shimogga airport in Karnataka on February 27, 2023. The airport has been built on 663 acres of land with an investment of Rs 449.22 crore. Apart from this, the Prime Minister has also inaugurated several other development projects in the poll-bound state. The airport’s passenger terminal building can handle 300 passengers per hour. Its foundation stone was laid in June 2020 by former CM BS Yeddyurappa.

The Carabao Cup, also known as the EFL Cup, is a major football trophy played in England. The competition was open to all clubs participating in the Premier League and the English Football League. Liverpool is the most successful club in the competition and has won more than nine championships.

मैनचेस्टर यूनाइटेड ने छह साल बाद 2023 में काराबाओ कप खिताब जीतने हेतु न्यूकैसल को हराया। न्यूकैसल सऊदी अरब समर्थित क्लब है। काराबाओ कप को ईएफएल कप के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, जो इंग्लैंड में खेली जाने वाली एक प्रमुख फुटबॉल ट्रॉफी है। प्रतियोगिता प्रीमियर लीग और इंग्लिश फुटबॉल लीग में भाग लेने वाले सभी क्लबों के लिए खुली थी। लिवरपूल प्रतियोगिता में सबसे सफल क्लब है और उसने नौ से अधिक चैंपियनशिप जीती हैं।
PM Narendra Modi has released the 13th installment of financial benefits worth Rs 16,800 crore to over eight crore eligible farmers under the flagship PM-Kisan scheme. PM-Kisan refers to the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi. Under the scheme, eligible farmers are provided a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per year in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each in four months. The amount is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने प्रमुख पीएम-किसान योजना के तहत आठ करोड़ से अधिक पात्र किसानों को 16,800 करोड़ रुपये के वित्तीय लाभ की 13वीं किस्त जारी की है। पीएम-किसान प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि को संदर्भित करती है। इस योजना के तहत, पात्र किसानों को प्रत्येक चार महीने में 2,000 रुपये की तीन समान किस्तों में प्रति वर्ष 6,000 रुपये का वित्तीय लाभ प्रदान किया जाता है। राशि हितग्राहियों के बैंक खातों में सीधे ट्रांसफर की जाती है।
The 85th Plenary Session of the Indian National Congress was held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Around 15,000 delegates from different states participated in the three-day Congress summit and discussed socio-political, political, economic and international affairs. During the meeting, he also adopted six resolutions clarifying the party’s stand on the issues and laying out the party roadmap for them.

भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस का 85वां पूर्ण अधिवेशन रायपुर, छत्तीसगढ़ में संपन्न हुआ। तीन दिवसीय कांग्रेस शिखर सम्मेलन में विभिन्न राज्यों के लगभग 15,000 प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया और सामाजिक-राजनीतिक, राजनीतिक, आर्थिक और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मामलों पर चर्चा की। बैठक के दौरान, उन्होंने मुद्दों पर पार्टी का रुख स्पष्ट करने और उनके लिए पार्टी रोडमैप तैयार करने वाले छह प्रस्तावों को भी अपनाया।

The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet approved the extension of Armane Giridhar – Secretary, Department of Defense. He will continue in his post till October 31, 2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. This extension is after his age of superannuation. He was due to retire in June 2023 after attaining the age of 60 years. He is a 1988 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre.

केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की नियुक्ति समिति ने रक्षा विभाग के सचिव – अरमाने गिरिधर के विस्तार को मंजूरी दी। वह 31 अक्टूबर, 2024 तक या अगले आदेश तक, जो भी पहले हो, अपने पद पर बने रहेंगे। यह विस्तार उनकी अधिवर्षिता की आयु के बाद का है। वह 60 वर्ष की सेवानिवृत्ति के बाद जून 2023 में सेवानिवृत्त होने वाले थे। वह आंध्र प्रदेश कैडर के 1988 बैच के आईएएस अधिकारी हैं।
Madhya Pradesh women’s hockey team won the 13th Hockey India Senior Women’s National Championship 2023 held in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. MP defeated Hockey Maharashtra 5-1 in the final. MP’s Pratibha Arya was declared the best defender of the championship. He was also awarded the title of Player of the Match. Hockey Jharkhand team secured the third position by defeating Hockey Haryana in the third place match.

मध्य प्रदेश महिला हॉकी टीम ने काकीनाडा, आंध्र प्रदेश में आयोजित 13वीं हॉकी इंडिया सीनियर महिला राष्ट्रीय चैंपियनशिप 2023 जीती। एमपी ने फाइनल में हॉकी महाराष्ट्र को 5-1 से हराया। एमपी की प्रतिभा आर्य को चैंपियनशिप की सर्वश्रेष्ठ डिफेंडर घोषित किया गया। उन्हें प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच के खिताब से भी नवाजा गया। हॉकी झारखंड की टीम ने तीसरे स्थान के मैच में हॉकी हरियाणा को हराकर तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया।
Computer scientist, Hari Balakrishnan was awarded the 2023 Marconi Prize. He is a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Marconi Prize is a top honor for computer scientists and is awarded by the US-based Marconi Foundation. It is given to those who have made significant contribution in enhancing digital inclusivity through advanced information and communication technology.

कंप्यूटर वैज्ञानिक, हरि बालाकृष्णन को 2023 मार्कोनी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। वह मैसाचुसेट्स इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी में इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरिंग और कंप्यूटर साइंस विभाग में प्रोफेसर हैं। मार्कोनी पुरस्कार कंप्यूटर वैज्ञानिकों हेतु एक शीर्ष सम्मान है और इसे अमेरिका स्थित मार्कोनी फाउंडेशन द्वारा प्रदान किया जाता है। यह उन लोगों को दिया जाता है जिन्होंने उन्नत सूचना और संचार प्रौद्योगिकी के माध्यम से डिजिटल समावेशिता बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया है।
The Kerala government signed an MoU with UN Women to promote women-friendly activities in the state’s tourism sector. The MoU was signed by Kerala Tourism Director PB Noh and UN Women India representative Susan Ferguson. Both sides agreed to work towards promoting gender inclusive tourism destinations in the state. It will be implemented by the Responsible Tourism Mission. This will be done through modules and capacity building of relevant stakeholders.

The 4th National Protein Day is observed across the nation on 27th February as an annual awareness day to highlight the importance of adequate protein consumption. It was first observed on 27th February 2020. This day was initiated by the Right To Protein (RTP) with a focus on raising awareness of adequate protein consumption for better health and nutrition. Protein is a macronutrient essential to building muscle mass.

चौथा राष्ट्रीय प्रोटीन दिवस पूरे देश में 27 फरवरी को पर्याप्त प्रोटीन खपत के महत्व को उजागर करने के लिए वार्षिक जागरूकता दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। यह पहली बार 27 फरवरी 2020 को मनाया गया था। इस दिन की शुरुआत राइट टू प्रोटीन (RTP) द्वारा की गई थी, जिसमें बेहतर स्वास्थ्य और पोषण के लिए पर्याप्त प्रोटीन की खपत के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने पर ध्यान दिया गया था। मांसपेशियों के द्रव्यमान के निर्माण के लिए प्रोटीन आवश्यक मैक्रोन्यूट्रिएंट है।
