HCL founder Shiv Nadar topped as the most generous person in the country with an annual donation of Rs 1,161 crore, the EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2022 revealed. Nadar, 77, has reclaimed the ‘India’s most generous’ title with a donation of Rs 3 crore per day, according to the report.

Global Youth Leadership Center, an international non-profit organisation, is all set to embark on its journey from Bangladesh on October 20 with the inauguration of its first programme — the Global Youth Climate Summit. The three-day summit will be held at Ava Center in Khulna, one of Bangladesh’s most climate vulnerable regions, bringing together 650 youths from 70 countries to explore how today’s youth can lead the fight against climate change.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appointed Jaxay Shah, founder chairman of Savvy Group and former chairman of CREDAI as the chairman of the Quality Council of India (QCI) for three years, effective 21 October, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. He will succeed former McKinsey India chief Adil Zainulbhai, who served as the chairman of QCI through three terms for eight years from 2014 to 2022.

The 7th Ayurveda Day was celebrated on a magnificent scale in India and at the international level. The theme of this year’s Ayurveda Day is “Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda”, with the motive to propagate the benefits of Ayurveda to masses and grass-root communities. In view with the 2022 theme, several events and activities were conducted under 3-Js i.e. Jan Sandesh, Jan Bhagidari and Jan Aandolan. 7वां आयुर्वेद दिवस भारत और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर शानदार पैमाने पर मनाया गया। इस वर्ष के आयुर्वेद दिवस का विषय “हर दिन हर घर आयुर्वेद” है, जिसका उद्देश्य आयुर्वेद के लाभों को जनता और जमीनी स्तर के समुदायों तक पहुंचाना है। 2022 की थीम को ध्यान में रखते हुए, 3-जेएस यानी जन संदेश, जन भागीदारी और जन आंदोलन के तहत कई कार्यक्रम और गतिविधियां आयोजित की गईं। इस उत्सव में 12 सितंबर 2022 से 23 अक्टूबर 2022 तक छह सप्ताह तक चलने वाले कार्यक्रम भी शामिल हैं।
The Centre has appointed Sanjay Malhotra, a 1990 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Rajasthan cadre, as the new revenue secretary. He will replace Tarun Bajaj who will superannuate at the end of November. Malhotra, currently serving as secretary in the Department of Financial Services (DFS), will join the Revenue Department as an officer on special duty. The centre has announced new secretaries for 16 ministries and departments.

केंद्र ने राजस्थान कैडर के 1990 बैच के भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (आईएएस) अधिकारी संजय मल्होत्रा को नया राजस्व सचिव नियुक्त किया है। वह तरुण बजाज की जगह लेंगे जो नवंबर के अंत में सेवानिवृत्त होंगे। मल्होत्रा, जो वर्तमान में वित्तीय सेवा विभाग (डीएफएस) में सचिव के रूप में कार्यरत हैं, विशेष कर्तव्य पर एक अधिकारी के रूप में राजस्व विभाग में शामिल होंगे। केंद्र ने 16 मंत्रालयों और विभागों के लिए नए सचिवों की घोषणा की है।
