A two-day workshop on “Human Factors Engineering in Military Platforms” was inaugurated by the Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan on March 2023 in New Delhi. The workshop is being organized by the Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS), which is a Delhi-based laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The objective of the workshop is to establish a policy framework and practices that ensure the scientific implementation of Human Factors Engineering (HFE) in the defence sector, thus contributing to the vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
मार्च 2023 को नई दिल्ली में चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस स्टाफ जनरल अनिल चौहान द्वारा “ह्यूमन फैक्टर्स इंजीनियरिंग इन मिलिट्री प्लेटफॉर्म्स” पर दो दिवसीय कार्यशाला का उद्घाटन किया गया। कार्यशाला का आयोजन डिफेंस इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ फिजियोलॉजी एंड एलाइड साइंसेज (डीआईपीएएस) द्वारा किया जा रहा है, जो रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (डीआरडीओ) की दिल्ली स्थित प्रयोगशाला है। कार्यशाला का उद्देश्य एक नीतिगत ढांचे और प्रथाओं को स्थापित करना है जो रक्षा क्षेत्र में मानव कारक इंजीनियरिंग (एचएफई) के वैज्ञानिक कार्यान्वयन को सुनिश्चित करता है, इस प्रकार ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत’ की दृष्टि में योगदान देता है।
To prevent further turmoil in the global banking system, Swiss authorities have orchestrated a shotgun merger between UBS and Credit Suisse, with UBS agreeing to buy its rival for 3 billion Swiss francs ($3.23 billion) and assuming up to $5.4 billion in losses. The regulators’ intervention was prompted by concerns that a crisis of confidence in Credit Suisse could have a widespread impact on the financial system.

After Tata Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL) withdrew from acquiring Bisleri International, Ramesh Chauhan, the chairman of the company, announced that his daughter Jayanti Chauhan will now lead the bottled water company. He also stated that he has no intention of selling the business and is not currently in talks with any parties about doing so. Jayanti Chauhan is currently the vice chairperson of Bisleri and has been involved with the business for several years. She has been driving innovation and overseeing sales and marketing teams, with a focus on market penetration and brand value.

Ratan Tata, an Indian industrialist and philanthropist, has been named an Honorary Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AO) for his outstanding contributions to the Australia-India bilateral relationship, specifically in the areas of trade, investment, and philanthropy. The announcement was made by Australia’s Governor-General, following a recommendation by Australia’s High Commissioner to India, Barry O’Farrell.

Every year, since 1950, March 23rd has been celebrated as the World Meteorological Day all around the world. This was the same day when the World Meteorological Organization was established. The organization aims to announce a slogan for this day every year, which is then celebrated by all the member countries in the world. The World Meteorological Day commemorates the contribution that the National Meteorological, as well as Hydrological Services, make to a society’s safety and well-being.
