President Droupadi Murmu has appointed Dr CV Ananda Bose as the Governor of West Bengal. Bose (71) is a 1977 batch (retired) Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Kerala cadre. He last served as an administrator in the National Museum here before superannuating in 2011. His appointment will take effect on the date he assumes charge of his office.

राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने डॉ सीवी आनंद बोस को पश्चिम बंगाल का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया है। बोस (71) केरल कैडर के 1977 बैच के (सेवानिवृत्त) भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (IAS) अधिकारी हैं। उन्होंने आखिरी बार 2011 में सेवानिवृत्त होने से पहले यहां राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय में एक प्रशासक के रूप में कार्य किया था। उनकी नियुक्ति उनके पदभार ग्रहण करने की तिथि से प्रभावी होगी।
The Uttarakhand High Court will be shifted from Nainital to Haldwani. This decision was taken in a cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun. Uttarakhand cabinet has also decided to make strict amendments in the conversion law, wherein forced conversion will now be a cognizable offence.
उत्तराखंड हाई कोर्ट नैनीताल से हल्द्वानी स्थानांतरित होगा
उत्तराखंड उच्च न्यायालय नैनीताल से हल्द्वानी स्थानांतरित किया जाएगा। देहरादून में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की अध्यक्षता में हुई कैबिनेट की बैठक में यह फैसला लिया गया. उत्तराखंड कैबिनेट ने भी धर्मांतरण कानून में सख्त संशोधन करने का फैसला किया है, जिसके तहत अब जबरन धर्मांतरण संज्ञेय अपराध होगा.

हरियाणा में 19 नवंबर से 6 दिसंबर तक कुरुक्षेत्र में अंतरराष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव का आयोजन किया जाना है। पवित्र गीता के इस भव्य महोत्सव में राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू शामिल होंगी. हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल ने कहा कि राष्ट्रपति ब्रह्म सरोवर में गीता यज्ञ में भाग लेंगे।

BPCL’s former chairman Arun Kumar Singh is likely to be the new chairman of India’s top oil and gas producer Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). He retired from BPCL after attaining the superannuation age last month and was already selected to head the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) before the August 27 interviews. The will be first time that a person aged over 60 will be heading a top PSU board-level position.

BPCL के पूर्व अध्यक्ष अरुण कुमार सिंह के भारत के शीर्ष तेल और गैस उत्पादक तेल और प्राकृतिक गैस निगम (ONGC) के नए अध्यक्ष होने की संभावना है। वह पिछले महीने सेवानिवृत्ति की आयु प्राप्त करने के बाद बीपीसीएल से सेवानिवृत्त हुए और 27 अगस्त के साक्षात्कार से पहले ही पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस नियामक बोर्ड (पीएनजीआरबी) के प्रमुख के लिए चुने गए थे। यह पहली बार होगा जब 60 वर्ष से अधिक आयु का व्यक्ति पीएसयू बोर्ड स्तर के शीर्ष पद पर आसीन होगा।
