1. India assumed the chairmanship of Council of RATS SCO

India assumed the Chairmanship of Council of Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (RATS SCO) for 1 year from October 28, 2021.

• भारत ने RATS SCO परिषद की अध्यक्षता ग्रहण की

भारत ने 28 अक्टूबर, 2021 से 1 वर्ष के लिए शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (RATS SCO) की क्षेत्रीय आतंकवाद-रोधी संरचना परिषद की अध्यक्षता ग्रहण की।

2. NITI Aayog to establish 1,000 Atal Tinkering Labs in J&K

The NITI Aayog has planned to establish 1000 Atal Tinkering Laboratories in Jammu and Kashmir. Out of 1000 Atal Tinkering Laboratories, 187 will be established by the end of the financial year 2021-22.

• नीति आयोग जम्मू-कश्मीर में 1,000 अटल टिंकरिंग लैब स्थापित करेगा

नीति आयोग ने जम्मू-कश्मीर में 1000 अटल टिंकरिंग प्रयोगशालाएं स्थापित करने की योजना बनाई है। वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 के अंत तक 1000 अटल टिंकरिंग प्रयोगशालाओं में से 187 की स्थापना की जाएगी।

3. UNGA granted observer status to International Solar Alliance

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has granted Observer Status to International Solar Alliance (ISA) by adopting resolution 76/123. This decision has been taken based on the UNGA’s Sixth Committee report.

4. Catherine Russell appointed as the new head of UNICEF

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has appointed Catherine Russell as the head of UN children’s agency UNICEF, also known as the United Nations Children’s Fund.

• कैथरीन रसेल को यूनिसेफ का नया प्रमुख नियुक्त किया गया

संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरेस ने कैथरीन रसेल को संयुक्त राष्ट्र बच्चों की एजेंसी यूनिसेफ के प्रमुख के रूप में नियुक्त किया है, जिसे संयुक्त राष्ट्र बाल कोष के रूप में भी जाना जाता है।

5. NITI Aayog and Bharti Foundation announce the launch of ‘Convoke 2021-22’

NITI Aayog in partnership with Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, launched Convoke 2021-22. Convoke is a National research Symposium that aims at addressing challenges in imparting education and strengthening its quality with a special focus on all teachers, educationists, heads of schools across India.

नीति आयोग ने भारती एंटरप्राइजेज की परोपकारी शाखा भारती फाउंडेशन के साथ साझेदारी में 2021-22 कान्वोक लॉन्च किया। दीक्षांत समारोह एक राष्ट्रीय शोध संगोष्ठी है जिसका उद्देश्य भारत भर के सभी शिक्षकों, शिक्षाविदों, स्कूलों के प्रमुखों पर विशेष ध्यान देने के साथ शिक्षा प्रदान करने और इसकी गुणवत्ता को मजबूत करने में आने वाली चुनौतियों का समाधान करना है।

6. DRDO successfully tests Pinaka Extended Range 2021

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully test-fired Pinaka Extended Range (Pinaka-ER), Area Denial Munitions (ADM), and indigenously developed fuzes.

रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) ने पिनाका एक्सटेंडेड रेंज (पिनाका-ईआर), एरिया डेनियल म्यूनिशन (ADM) और स्वदेशी रूप से विकसित फ़्यूज़ का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया है।

7. RBI enforces 20-digit LEI for cross-border deals

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) made Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) mandatory for cross-border transactions for capital or current account transactions of Rs 50 crore and above, from October 1 next year.

• आरबीआई सीमा पार सौदों के लिए 20 अंकों का एलईआई लागू करता है

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने अगले साल 1 अक्टूबर से 50 करोड़ रुपये और उससे अधिक के पूंजी या चालू खाता लेनदेन के लिए सीमा पार लेनदेन के लिए कानूनी इकाई पहचानकर्ता (LEI) को अनिवार्य कर दिया है।
