AIMA honours Shoojit Sircar with Director Of The Year award

1. AIMA conferred Director of the Year Award on Shoojit Sircar.

Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari presented the 2021 AIMA Managing India Awards (AIMA) across multiple categories in Delhi. Shoojit Sircar was awarded the Director of the Year Award for Sardar Udham in the category of films.

एआईएमए ने शूजीत सरकार को डायरेक्टर ऑफ द ईयर अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया।

सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने दिल्ली में कई श्रेणियों में 2021 एआईएमए मैनेजिंग इंडिया अवार्ड्स (AIMA) प्रदान किए। फिल्मों की श्रेणी में सरदार उधम के लिए शूजीत सरकार को डायरेक्टर ऑफ द ईयर अवार्ड से नवाजा गया।

 

2. World Heritage Day 2022: 18 April.

The United Nations celebrates World Heritage Day every year on 18 April. The day is celebrated to recognize the efforts of organizations working for and preserving human heritage. Monuments and ancient buildings are the wealth of the world. They make for the rich heritage of the nation. Since 1983, the International Council on Monuments and Sites has set a theme around which programs are centered. The theme of World Heritage Day 2022 is “Heritage and Climate”.

3. Veteran television producer and actor Manju Singh passed away.

Veteran Hindi television presenter and actor, Manju Singh has passed away due to heart failure. She was one of the pioneers in the Indian television industry and remembered as Didi.

वयोवृद्ध टेलीविजन निर्माता और अभिनेता मंजू सिंह का निधन।

वयोवृद्ध हिंदी टेलीविजन प्रस्तोता और अभिनेता, मंजू सिंह का हृदय गति रुकने के कारण निधन हो गया है। वह भारतीय टेलीविजन उद्योग में अग्रदूतों में से एक थीं और उन्हें दीदी के रूप में याद किया जाता था।

 

4. Danish Open Swimming: Sajan Prakash won Gold.

Top Indian swimmer Sajan Prakash won the men’s 200m butterfly gold medal at the Denmark Open swimming competition in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Participating in his first international competition this year, Prakash stopped the clock at 1.59.27 to stand on the podium. Earlier, the Kerala swimmer clocked 2.03.67 in the heat to qualify for the ‘A’ final.

डेनिश ओपन स्विमिंग : साजन प्रकाश ने जीता गोल्ड।

शीर्ष भारतीय तैराक साजन प्रकाश ने डेनमार्क के कोपेनहेगन में डेनमार्क ओपन तैराकी प्रतियोगिता में पुरुषों की 200 मीटर बटरफ्लाई का स्वर्ण पदक जीता।

इस साल अपनी पहली अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेते हुए, प्रकाश ने पोडियम पर खड़े होने के लिए घड़ी को 1.59.27 पर रोका। इससे पहले, केरल के तैराक ने ‘ए’ फाइनल के लिए क्वालीफाई करने के लिए हीट में 2.03.67 का समय निकाला था।

 

5. UDAN Yojana selected for PM Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2020.

The flagship scheme of the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), the Regional Connectivity Scheme UDAN (UdeDeshkaAamNagrik), has been selected for the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration under the category “Innovation (General) – Central”.

लोक प्रशासन 2020 में उत्कृष्टता के लिए पीएम अवार्ड के लिए चयनित उड़ान योजना।

6. New Zealand paceman Hamish Bennett has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

New Zealand fast bowler (fast bowler) Hamish Bennett, 35, has announced his retirement from his 17-year-old cricket career, with the 2021/22 season ending. Before retiring, Bennett represented New Zealand in T20Is against Bangladesh in Mirpur, Pakistan in September 2021.

7. India’s first internet radio “Radio Akshya” for visually impaired people was launched in Nagpur.

India’s first radio channel for visually impaired people, named ‘Radio Aksh’, has been launched in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The 96-year-old Nagpur-based organization, The Blind Relief Association Nagpur (TBRN) and Samadrishti Kshamata Vikas Awam Anusandhan Mandal (Saksham) are the organizations behind the idea.

दृष्टिबाधित लोगों के लिए भारत का पहला इंटरनेट रेडियो “रेडियो अक्ष” नागपुर में शुरू किया गया।

8. WPI-based inflation rose to 14.55 per cent in March.

Inflation based on the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) in India rose to 14.55 per cent in March due to rise in electricity prices and rising edible oil prices. In March 2022, higher rates of inflation were recorded due to rise in prices of mineral oil, crude petroleum and natural gas and base metals as there was disruption in global supply chain due to Russia-Ukraine conflict. In March 2021, the WPI-based inflation rate stood at 7.89%.

मार्च में डब्ल्यूपीआई आधारित महंगाई दर बढ़कर 14.55 फीसदी हो गई।

बिजली की कीमतों में वृद्धि और खाद्य तेल की बढ़ती कीमतों के कारण मार्च महीने में भारत में थोक मूल्य सूचकांक (WPI) आधारित मुद्रास्फीति बढ़कर 14.55 प्रतिशत हो गई। मार्च 2022 में, खनिज तेल, कच्चे पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस और मूल धातुओं की कीमतों में वृद्धि के कारण मुद्रास्फीति की उच्च दर दर्ज की गई थी क्योंकि रूस-यूक्रेन संघर्ष के कारण वैश्विक आपूर्ति श्रृंखला में व्यवधान था। मार्च 2021 में WPI आधारित महंगाई दर 7.89% थी।
